Highlights: Athens – Mytilene – Chios

Arrival to Athens, meeting with our representative and transfer to the hotel.

Athens city tour visiting Acropolis and Aeropagus, walking on Plaka area to Metropolis Cathedral. And the small Kapnikarea church. In the afternoon, transfer to Pireaus port and ferry to Mytilene. Overnight on board.

Morning arrival to Mytilene and transfer to the hotel. After free time for rest, we visit St Rafael convent and the monastery of Archangel in Mandamados. In the afternoon, we will visit Petra and the temple of Virgin Mary. Evening return to the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to the monastery of St. Ignatius. In the afternoon we visit the beautiful Eresos village of Sappho to visit the sights and enjoy some free time.

In the morning we will visit Agiaso village and the churches of the Virgin and St. Therapon and the cathedral of Mytilene in Mytilene town. Later we visit the museum of Theophilos. In the afternoon we transfer to the port and take the ferry to Chios.

In the morning we will visit the monastery of St. Constantine and St. Helen Fragkovouni, and continue to monastery of St. Minas. Later we visit the monastery Holy Archangels in Nenita and the church of the Assumption. After visiting the church of the Grand Commander in Mesta village, we return to our hotel.

After breakfast we visit the convent of Our Lady Help and continue to Nea Moni, the monastic complex is a monument of medieval times in Chios. We continue to the medieval village of Avgonyma and on the way back to the hotel, we visit the Life Giving Fountain.

After breakfast, we will visit the church of St. Isidore and to Monastery of Panagia Myrtidiotissa, built on the edge of the cliff, looking toward the Aegean Sea. At the end of our tour, we will visit the monastery Moundon, dedicated to St. John the Baptist. Afternoon transfer to the port and ferry to Pireaus.

Morning arrival to Pireaus. If time allow we will visit the monastery of Kaisariani, outside Athens. After the visit, transfer to the airport.
