Day 1
Athens sightseeing
Arrival to Athens airport, meet your driver, and departure for the city center and your guided sightseeing. You will have a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. Then you will pass from Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library and continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, and finally Acropolis. After your visit to the site you you will enjoy a short walking passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the Acropolis museum. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 2
Kalavrita – Mega Spilaio – Agia Lavra
After breakfast departure heading to Diakopto, where we will take the train on a rack railway to Kalavrita. Kalavrita is a beautiful little historical town, very important for the history of modern Greece….known for its contribution to the Greek revolution against the Turks as well as for the resistance during World War II, when the Germans burnt down the town and on the 13th of December 1943 they executed all 1,200 men aged 12 and over. Going through Vouraikos Canyon, we will admire one of the most beautiful natural sights in Greece (Kalavrita is the terminal of the Diakopto – Kalavrita rack railway, built by Italian engineers between 1885 and 1895). Arriving to Kalavrita, first we will visit the famous Monastery of Agia Lavra, described as the symbolic birth-place of modern Greece and here is where the first flag of freedom was raised by Bishop Germanos of Patras when the Greeks rebelled against the Turks on March, 21 of 1821. After that we will visit the Monastery of Mega Spileo in Zachlorou village. It is the oldest Greek Orthodox monastery. It was constructed around 326 A.D on the side of a steep hill, which is about 120 meters high. Its cells are built around the entrance of the cave. An icon of Virgin Mary was found deep inside the cave by a shepherd girl. Believed to be made by Apostle Luke, the icon has miraculously managed to survive four fires.

After breakfast departure for a full day of joy! You will have a day to a Water Fun’s Water World Park! Water fun park is an aquatic paradise, a place for fun and adventure. Water slides for every age, swimming pools, lazy river as well as auxiliary spaces such as the pool bar. It will be an unforgettable experience!
Day 5
Corinth canal – Loutraki
Drive towards Peloponnesus to Corinth canal which connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island. Today we will spend the day in Loutraki city famous for its natural thermal spa. We will also have a trip to Hera’s lake to enjoy some time to relax.

Day 7
Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus – Mycenae – Nafplio
After breakfast departure for your visit to Argolis. First you will visit The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus is a theatre in the Greek city of Epidaurus, located on the southeast end of the sanctuary dedicated to the ancient Greek God of medicine, Asclepius. It is built on the west side of Cynortion Mountain, near modern Lygourio, and belongs to the Epidaurus Municipality. It is considered to be the most perfect ancient Greek theatre with regard to acoustics and aesthetics. Then you continue with the Homeric city of Mycenae (1300 B.C.) to see the Lions Gate the Cyclopean Walls, the Royal Tombs. Then you will have a short stop to the beautiful city of Nafplio, the first capital of Greece in its modern history.

Departure
After breakfast, departure transfer to the Athens airport according to your flight schedule.
