Day 1
Arrival to Athens, transfer to Kalabaka
After arrival to Athens and meeting with our representative, we depart to Kalabaka where we will visit St. John the Baptist. Overnight in Kalabaka and dinner in the hotel.
Day 2
Meteora
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we visit Meteora – heaven monastery – one of the most attractive part of Greece. Huge monolithic rock height of over 600 meters rushed into the sky. A visit to the three existing monasteries. On the way to Athens we will visit the Monastery of St. Luke. Hotel accomodation in Athens and dinner.
Day 3
Aegina island and Athens
In the morning transfer to the port of Piraeus and ferry to the island of Aegina. We will visit the convent of the Holy Trinity, the worship of relics of St. Nectarios of Aegina. A visit to the monastery of St. Great Martyr Ekateriny. Afternoon return to the port of Piraeus and Athens sightseeing tour in the evening. We will visit the Acropolis and Areopagus – a place preaching of St. Paul’s visit to the Cathedral “Annunciation.” In it the relics of St. martyr Patriarch of Constantinople Gregory V. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Andros and Tinos Islands
In the morning we will transfer to port of Rafina. Ferry to Andros. We will visit the monastery of St. Nicholas of Myra. Since the founding of the monastery under the altar of the sacred spring flows. After the monastery of St. Great Marina. This monastery was founded in 1325 by Christ, there is a miraculous icon of the saint and a particle of the relics of her. In the evening we will take the ferry to the island of Tinos. Hotel accommodation. Dinner.
Day 5
Tinos, Syros and Patmos islands
Liturgy in the church of the Annunciation, called “Megalochori“, which means “Great Pleasing”. After breakfast we will visit the Monastery of St. Pelagia of Tinos. After, we take the ferry to Syros and visit the Church of the Dormition, where the icon of the Mother of God, the hand of the famous painter El Greco. Dinner and then ferry to Patmos. Overnight on board.
Day 6
Patmos tour
On the island of Patmos – the island of St. John the Evangelist, we will visit the cave of the Apocalypse, where the Apostle John the Evangelist was revealed the Revelation of God. After, we will visit the Monastery of St. John the Divine, built under the project of St. Christodoulos in the XI century. Later we will visit the monastery of the Mother of God “Life-giving Source”. After dinner, we will take the ferry to the port of Piraeus. Overnight on board.
Day 7
Return to Athens and departure
Morning arrival, free time in Athens and transfer to Athens airport and departure.
