Day 1
Arrival to Izmir
Arrival to Turkey. After meeting with our representative, transfer to the hotel and time to relax and prepare for the tour.
Day 2
Excursion to Ephesus
Transfer to Kusadasi. Today we will visit the Basilica of St. John, which is today believed to be resting place of John. In the evening we will explore Ephesus. You can still see the spectacular excavations of the major streets in this ancient city where we view the Library, Agora, theatre, colorful mosaics in the aristocratic Terrace Houses. At the end of the day you will have free time for shopping of famous Turkish Rugs. Transfer to Kussadasi hotel.
Day 3
Cruise 1st day, Patmos island
This afternoon we embark our cruise ship and sail for a visit to the beautiful Patmos. Here we have the chance to see the monastery of St. John and the cave claimed to be where John received the Revelation. Back on the ship, enjoy dinner before settling in to your cabin for the night.
Day 4
Cruise 2nd day, Crete and Santorini
Today we will visit Heraklion and the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. Later this day visit the island of Santorini which is perhaps the most breathtaking of all the Greek Islands. We will take the tour of sailing around an active volcano crater and swimming in the water heated by hot springs. Return to the ship for and sail to Athens.
Day 5
End of cruise, Athens
Morning arrival and Athens sightseeing tour. We visit the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and Erectheum before viewing Athens the Highest court, Aeropagus, where Paul stood and preached the truth to the Gentile nation. Additional sites include the Ancient Agora and Roman forum, the Parliament and Olympic Stadium. Enjoy free time at famous Plaka with a multitude of shops and cafes.
Day 6
Excursion to Argolida
After breakfast departure to the ancient city of Corinth with a short stop at the Corinth Canal. After the visit to ancient Corinth we travel to Mycenae where the remains of the ancient city date back to the Bronze Age to see the famous Lionesse Gate, the Tomb of Agamennon in the shape of a Beehive. In the afternoon, return back to Athens.
Day 7
Departure
Breakfast and transfer to Athens airport.
