Day 1 : Athens

Upon your arrival at Athens Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel.

After settling in, enjoy a free afternoon to discover the picturesque Plaka district, with its winding lanes, lively boutiques, and quaint cafés, ideal for a relaxed stroll.

Alternatively, if you have a passion for history, you can explore the National Archaeological Museum, one of Greece’s most significant cultural landmarks, home to an extensive collection of ancient relics, statues, and more.

This is a wonderful opportunity to absorb the rich history and charm of Athens at your own pace before your evening activities.

Day 2 : Peloponnese

Your journey begins with a visit to the impressive Corinth Canal, a narrow waterway that connects the Aegean Sea to the Ionian Sea.

Afterward, continue to Epidaurus, renowned for its well-preserved archaeological site, including the ancient theater famous for its extraordinary acoustics.

Following your visit, head to Nafplio for a brief stop to admire the charming town and its picturesque views.

Next, drive to Mycenae, where you’ll explore the archaeological site, including the iconic Lion Gate and the ancient royal tombs.

After immersing yourself in the history of Mycenae, continue your journey to Olympia, passing through the heart of the Peloponnese. Along the way, you will pass through the cities of Megalopolis and Tripoli, offering a glimpse of the region’s rich history and beautiful landscapes.

Day 3 : Olympia

This day will be filled with historical wonders and scenic views. You’ll begin with a visit to the ancient archaeological site of Olympia, home to the origins of the Olympic Games. Explore the well-preserved ruins, including the sacred temples, the ancient stadium where athletes once competed, and the striking monuments that tell the story of ancient Greece.

Afterward, head to the Museum of Olympia, where you can admire a remarkable collection of artifacts, sculptures, and relics from the ancient games and the region’s rich history.

Following your time in Olympia, we will transfer to Kyllini port, where you’ll board the ferry to Zakynthos, an enchanting island known for its stunning beaches and picturesque landscapes.

The journey to Zakynthos marks the beginning of your next adventure, as you set sail across the Ionian Sea to discover the beauty and charm of this vibrant Greek island.

Day 4 : Zakynthos
Today day is to explore the island and its main tourist attractions, such as the famous Shipwreck Beach – Navagio and In the late afternoon, Caretta Caretta turtles in Laganas Bay. If time will allow, you can relax or swim. Return to your hotel, dinner, overnight in Zakynthos.
Day 5 : Delphi – Kalabaka

Early in the morning, take a ferry back from Zakynthos to Kyllini port and depart for Delphes. You will drive through Patras then toward Rion. Here, we’ll cross the impressive Rion-Antirion Bridge, a modern engineering marvel considered to be the longest and most advanced suspended bridge in Europe.

Early in the evening arrival in Delphes, visit the famous archaeological site of Delphi, home to the ancient Oracle of Delphi, and explore its fascinating museum, showcasing artifacts from the site’s rich history.

Afterward, drive through the central Greek towns of Amphissa, Lamia, and Trikala, each with its own unique charm and historical significance.

The journey will take us to Kalabaka, a picturesque town located at the base of the towering Meteora rock formations. In Kalabaka, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by a comfortable overnight stay, allowing you to relax and prepare for the adventures of the next day.

Day 6 : Meteora – Thessaloniki

This morning, you will visit the impressive Meteora Monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its towering rock formations and stunning monasteries perched on top. It’s a truly awe-inspiring experience, blending natural beauty with centuries of history.

After exploring Meteora, we’ll continue our journey to Thessaloniki, Greece’s vibrant second-largest city. Upon arrival, we’ll visit some of its most remarkable sights, starting with the iconic White Tower, a symbol of the city’s rich Byzantine history.

We’ll also see the Byzantine Castle, the Church of Agios Dimitrios, and the beautiful Church of Agia Ekaterini. Additionally, we’ll visit the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, which houses significant artifacts from ancient Greece, offering a deeper understanding of the region’s cultural heritage.

After a day filled with history and exploration, we’ll enjoy a relaxing evening and overnight stay in Thessaloniki, reflecting on the incredible sights we’ve experienced.

Day 7 : Tour to Pella and Vergina

This morning, we’ll drive to Pella, the ancient capital of Macedon and the birthplace of Alexander the Great. Pella is rich in history and archaeological sites, offering insight into the life and times of one of history’s greatest conquerors.

Afterward, we’ll continue to Vergina to visit the Tomb of King Philip II, Alexander’s father, an important archaeological site. The tomb is part of a larger royal cemetery, and the “Vergina Treasures,” including golden artifacts and royal regalia, are a must-see for history enthusiasts.

After exploring Vergina, we’ll make our way back to Thessaloniki, passing through the charming town of Veria. Known for its history and picturesque streets, Veria provides a glimpse into the traditional Greek way of life.

Once we arrive in Thessaloniki, you’ll have some free time to relax and reflect on the incredible history we’ve experienced throughout the day.

Day 8 : Return to Athens

Start the return drive to Athens, through the Tempi Valley, Larissa, Thermopylae famous for the ancient battle that took place there and Kamena Vourla.

Along the way, we’ll stop at Thermopylae, famous for the ancient battle between the Spartans and Persians, and continue through Kamena Vourla before heading back to Athens.

Day 9 : Athens city tour

Visit the Acropolis and its Acropolis Museum, next, we’ll head to Syntagma Square, the heart of Athens, before stopping by the impressive Temple of Olympian Zeus. We’ll also visit the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held.

In the afternoon, you’ll have some free time to relax or explore the city further. For a stunning panoramic view of Athens, take the opportunity to ride the cable car up to Lycabettos Hill, offering breathtaking views of the Acropolis, the sea, and the surrounding areas.

Day 10 : Departure

After breakfast transfer to Athens airport for your back flight to your home.
