Day 1
Athens
Arrival to Athens. After meeting with our representative, transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon to walk at Plaka area or visit the Archeological National museum.
Day 2
Athens tour and Delphi
Morning visit of Acropolis and Acropolis New museum and city tour visiting Syntagma square, Temple of Zeus and Panathenian stadium. In the afternoon transfer to Delphi Levadia and Arachova. Before we transfer to the hotel, we will enjoy free time in Arachova village.
Day 3
Delphi visit and Lefkada
Morning to visit the world-famous museum and the archaeological site and departure to Lefkada island. Upon arrival, we will enjoy walking city tour and then rest in our hotel.
Day 4
Lefkada beaches and Kalabaka
Today we have free morning to enjoy free day to explore the island and its unique beaches. In the afternoon, we will depart to Kalabaka.
Day 5
Meteora and Thessaloniki
In the morning, we will visit breathtaking Meteora, home to one of the oldest and historically most important monasteries of Greece. We continue our day travelling to the sacred Macedonian town of Dion, passing by Trikala and Larissa. Then continue to Thessaloniki. Here you will enjoy evening walking tour in Thessaloniki town.
Day 6
Excursion to Vergina and Pella
Morning drive to Pella, Alexander the Great’s capital. Continue to Vergina to visit the Tomb of the King Philip and the famous “Vergina Treasures”. Return to Thessaloniki via Veria where you will stay for the night.
Day 7
Return to Athens
On your last day, you will drive through Tempi Valley, Larissa and Lamia to Thermopylae, famous for the ancient battle that took place here. Drive on to Kamena Vourla before you return to Athens.
Day 8
Departure
After breakfast transfer to Athens airport.
