Day 1

Athens – Delphi site and Museum – Arachova

Upon arrival in Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport, meet and assistance. We will drive towards Delphi where we will visit the archeological site and the museum. After the tour we will drive to Arachova village. Check in hotel Anemolia Resort. We will then enjoy a one hour cooking lesson under the supervision of the hotel’s chef where clients can participate in the preparation of Greek traditional recipes like tzatziki, speenachpie or mousaka. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 2

Arachova – Evritania – Proussos – Black Cave

Proceed to Evritania area, driving to Proussos. Trekking from Proussos monastery to the gorge of Black Cave.The route goes through small stone bridges and cascades and ends to a spectacular waterfall and a cave. After trekking in Black Cave we will have the chance to enjoy flying fox in the location called Dipotama where two rivers merge, where we will cross Trikeriotis River in a high adrenaline activity. Check in and overnight in your hotel in Karpenissi.

Day 3

Trekking Panta Vrehei – Krikelopotamos

Today we will enjoy river trekking in Panta Vrehei Gorge which in Greek means “it always rains”. Starting from Megalo Chorio village. Behind Mt.Kaliakouda lies a very well hidden paradise for nature lovers. After an interesting dirt road ascend – descend of the spectacular mountain we end to the riverside of Krikelopotamos. We walk in the riverbanks and in the rivers crystal clear waters for about 45 minutes until we arrive to the waterfalls of Panta Vrehei.

Day 4

Karpenissi – Plastira Lake

Today we will proceed to the area of Plastira Lake.Trekking from Neraida village in the old path the locals used to follow to carry goods between the lake villages. The route is surrounded by fir and oak trees with natural sources in the forest where can make stops. If lucky we may witness animals like turtles or squirrels. After about two hours we will finish in Neochori village, and then new will proceed to our hotel for check in.

Day 5

Canoe Kayak and Mountain Bike in Plastira Lake

Today we will enjoy canoe-kayak in Plastira Lake .The tour is conducted with two-seat boats and passes through the lake islands and fiords and the trees of the bank lying into the water. Magnificent view to Agrafa Mountains. We will then take on our bikes and enjoy a mountain bike through bicycle road in through forest roads, oak forests and beautiful green scenery by the banks of the Plastira Lake.

Day 6

Adventure activities in Plastira Lake

Today we will visit “Ktima Alonaki” situated on an altitude of 900 meters where we will participate in a range of activities called “Adventure track”. Teams will be divided up to five persons who move to specific stations in circles. The stations involve archery, flying fox, climbing on an artificial wall, game of finding a lost treasure and learning to use compass. The activity will last about 4-5 hours. There is a possibility of coffee break, lunch at the property’s restaurant with a view to the Plastira Lake or even barbeque at the nature.

Day 7

Trekking in Meteora

Drive to Kastraki village in Meteora for trekking through an amazing route that will start from Kastraki village square. Taking the path we will pass down from the deserted “Pantokratoros” monastery, also leading to monastery of Ypapantis and the statue of a fighter of the Greek Revolution. End up at the top at the impressive monasteries of “Great Meteoron” and “Varlaam”. Then we proceed downwards passing by the Saint George’s of Mandila’s Cave where every year locals and visitors climb to hang handkerchiefs keeping an old tradition.

Day 8

Departure

Drive to Athens, passing through Lamia, and Theves. Arrival at the Athens International Airport for your flight back home according to your flight schedule.
