Days 1-3

Rhodes

Arrive in Athens and continue (18:30 hrs) by ferry-boat (overnight on board) to Rhodes island for a stay of 3 nights to a hotel at Rhodes town. (Rhodes island – the island of sun, an ideal place for vacations. It is the third largest Greek island and officially, the sunniest place in the Europe with 300 sunny days yearly.)

It is recommended to walk in the old city, to visit the mainstay of St John of Jerusalem”, a remnant from the crusade period which is under “Unesco” protection and the Rhodes museum located in the knights’ hospital. You should also visit Lindos this picturesque village which is stepped in history 7 – 6 century BC with its white washed houses and on the top it’s crowning glory the Acropolis which rules over the village, Ialysos with prehistoric, Minoan and Mycenaean remains, and Kameiros (8th c. B.C) the three level city, as well as the beautiful butterflies’ valley.

Rhodes weather: the average temperature in December to March is 12.0 – 13.5 Celsius. In April and November is around: 16.5, in May and October is around 20.5 and in June to September is around 28 Celsius

Days 4-6

Karpathos

Depart (10:30 a.m) by ferry to Karpathos (3.0 hrs) for a stay of 3 nights in a hotel or studio at Karpathos town or Kyra Panagia. Karpathos island – this out of the mash tourism destinations island is a beauty of nature and tradition. Here you’ll find the most traditional villages in Aegean Sea, breathtaking views and small sandy beaches for relax. It is recommended to visit some of its mountain villages but don’t miss the traditional village of Olympos and the fantastic beach of Appela. Karpathos island, second in size at Dodecanese, being further south of Rhodes has the same weather and the same sunny periods as Rhodes. Being there, try to attend one of the many summer traditional festivals, especially the ones in the August and beginning of September, and you get the feeling of bitterness. You’ll see people dancing but not laughing. It is the ‘good buy’ fiesta of the thousands of Karpathian immigrants to their relatives and friends left behind in the island, as the return back to their second country.

Day 7-13

Crete

Depart (13:30 p.m) by ferry to Crete (3.0 hrs) for a stay of 7 nights in a hotel or studio:

Two (2) nights at Ag. Nikolaos (Visit of Sitia – Vai swimming – Omalos), one (1) night Hersonissos (Visit Heraklion – KnossosPhestos), two (2) nights at Plakias (Visit Paralia PreveliPreveli’s MonasteryKourtaliotis valley), two (2) nights at Chania (visit Chania – faragi SamariasChora Sfakion), next day at Chania and with night ferry boat (departure at 22:00 hrs overnight on board) arrival at Piraeus 06:00 a.m. and transfer by tube to the Athens hotel for one (1) night stay.

Day 14

Athens

One (1) night stay in a 3*or 2* plus hotel in Athens city center. Visit by your own to Acropolis and its museum, Parthenon temple, Athens Acropolis New Museum and Archaeological Museum, walk in the city center and at Plaka, the old Athens town, or take half a day sightseeing tour.

Day 15

Departure

Some shopping in Athens and departure.
