ITINERARY
10 Days Footsteps of the Apostle Paul Biblical Tour in Greece and Santorini island
Day 1 – Arrival in Thessaloniki
Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, proceed through passport control and collect your luggage. Your tour guide will meet the group at the designated meeting point and assist with check-in for your short flight to Thessaloniki, one of the most important cities in the Footsteps of the Apostle Paul Tour in Greece.
After the flight to Thessaloniki Airport, transfer to your hotel and settle in. Thessaloniki is closely connected to Paul’s Second Missionary Journey, when he preached here and established the church mentioned in Acts 17:1-9 and later wrote the Epistles to the Thessalonians.

Day 2 – Philippi – Kavala – Lydia
This morning we travel to Kavala (ancient Neapolis), the port where Apostle Paul first arrived in Europe during his missionary journey (Acts 16:11). From here we continue to the sacred ruins of Philippi, one of the most important sites on any Biblical Tour of Greece.
In Acts 16:11-40, Paul preached the Gospel here and baptized Lydia, the first European convert to Christianity. Visit the Baptistry of Lydia beside the river where this historic event took place. We also explore the Roman prison of Paul and Silas, remembering the miraculous earthquake that freed them (Acts 16:25-34).
In Kavala admire the mosaic depicting Paul’s arrival in Macedonia, symbolizing the spread of Christianity into Europe.
Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.
Day 3 – Thessaloniki – Veria – Vergina
According to Acts 17:1-9, Apostle Paul preached in the synagogue of Thessaloniki and established the Thessalonian church, later writing the Epistles of 1 and 2 Thessalonians.
We continue to Vlatadon Monastery, where tradition says St. Paul preached the Gospel, offering a meaningful stop for pilgrims following the Footsteps of the Apostle Paul.
Next we travel to Veria (Biblical Berea), where Paul preached and the Bereans eagerly examined the Scriptures (Acts 17:10-12). Visit the Bema of Apostle Paul, marking the place where he taught.
Our journey continues to Vergina, the ancient Macedonian capital and burial place of King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great.

Day 4 – Meteora Monasteries – Delphi
The monasteries preserve priceless Byzantine frescoes, sacred icons, and manuscripts, reflecting centuries of Orthodox Christian faith and tradition.
Meteora remains an important destination for Christian pilgrims visiting Greece and travelers exploring the country’s religious heritage.
After lunch we continue our journey south through central Greece toward Delphi, passing scenic mountain landscapes.

Day 5 – Delphi and Athens
This morning we explore Delphi, once considered the spiritual center of the ancient world. The sanctuary of Apollo attracted pilgrims from across Greece seeking guidance from the famous Oracle of Delphi.
Visit the Temple of Apollo, the ancient stadium, the theater, and the archaeological museum displaying remarkable treasures from antiquity.
In the afternoon we travel to Athens, the historic capital of Greece and a key destination for travelers following the Biblical Greece Tour of Apostle Paul.
Enjoy a panoramic tour including the Panathenaic Olympic Stadium, Hellenic Parliament, Academy of Athens, and National University, symbols of Greece’s classical heritage.

Day 6 – Athens – Areopagus – Ancient Corinth
Our day begins with a visit to the magnificent Acropolis of Athens, home to the Parthenon, Erechtheion, Temple of Athena Nike, and the monumental Propylaea.
Nearby we stand on Mars Hill (Areopagus), where Apostle Paul delivered his famous sermon about the “Unknown God” to the Athenians (Acts 17:22-34), one of the most significant moments in the spread of Christianity in Europe.
We continue to the Corinth Canal, an impressive engineering achievement connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas.
Next we visit Ancient Corinth, where Paul lived and preached for eighteen months (Acts 18:1-11) and wrote letters to the Corinthians. Walk along the Steps of St. Paul, see the Temple of Apollo, and explore the Ancient Agora.
At nearby Kenchreai (Cenchreae), Paul departed on his missionary journey (Acts 18:18).
Return to Athens.

Day 7 – Santorini Island
Shortly after midday, embark on an unforgettable 3-hour volcano cruise. Our first stop is at Volcano Bay, where you can hike to the summit and witness the active craters of Santorini’s famous volcano.
We then sail to Palea Kameni, home to the island’s natural hot springs and the renowned mud baths in the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, where the water temperature reaches 35°C. Take a refreshing 30-minute dip in these therapeutic water before returning to the old port of Fira.
Return to the port of Fira.
In the evening enjoy dinner at a traditional Greek tavern with a lively Greek Wedding Show, celebrating music, dancing, and local culture.

Day 8 – The pearls of Santorini
Next explore the archaeological site of Akrotiri, a remarkably preserved Minoan city buried by volcanic ash around 1600 BC, often called the “Pompeii of the Aegean.”
After returning to the hotel for relaxation, we travel to the charming village of Oia, famous for its whitewashed houses and stunning caldera views.
Here we experience the world-renowned Santorini sunset, one of the most photographed sunsets in the world.
Enjoy dinner featuring Greek mezes and local wine before returning to the hotel.

Day 9 – Marathon Bay and Athens
Fly back to Athens and travel to Marathon, site of the historic Battle of Marathon (490 BC) where the Athenians defeated the Persian army.
Learn about the legendary run of Pheidippides, which inspired today’s Marathon race.
Returning to Athens we visit the world-class Acropolis Museum, displaying extraordinary sculptures and artifacts from the Acropolis.
In the afternoon enjoy an Athens street food experience, tasting favorites such as souvlaki, spanakopita, and loukoumades.

Day 10 – Departure
